Doug de Vries is listed as one of the best guitarists of the Brazilian style...but Doug treated all of us to the many styles he has acquired in his long and colourful musical career.
As well as presenting one of my favourites, "Hummingbird" we were presented with a great treat when Diana Clark (also Dougs partner) played a soul felt rendition of a South American jazz ballad with him.....beautiful ...he also performed with Tom on a tiny traditional Brazilian guitar (Cavaquinho)....
Can't wait to work with Doug and Diana again.

Hope you're enjoying the music so far.
We have been enjoying the concerts in the new Twilight venue...Abbotsford concert.
The Linen room has good acoustics and is suiting the type of music that we have there.
Next month we are trialing a new venue...Wyselaskie Auditorium in Parkville.
See below.
The sound is good and the venue has a piano...great!!!!

Twilight Concert may be moving to Abbotsford Convent

The new year will see some changes with Twilight Music.
Lisa, our very capable publicist for the concerts has put forward a proposal for Twilight
Music to run our some of the concerts at the Abottsford convent. This is a beautiful venue with a series of great performance spaces, including the the Sacred Chapel which has wonderful acoustics.
This will see that the more meditative concerts will be held at the Gawler foundation and the more "World" oriented gigs will be held at the convent and Montsalvat, with the solo and duet concerts being held at The Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne.

We are also hoping to release the second Twilight album in 2011. Most of the album has been recorded, with tracks by Light of the moon, Clair de Lune and solo tracks by Evri and myself.
